Press release: The BIC coordination action was featured in a press release on the European Commission Digital Agenda web site highlighting the establishment and launching of the BIC in-country Extended Working Groups (EWGs). The press release can be found at

• During October, 2013, BIC organised two Extended Working Group (EWG) workshops in India (11^th October, 2013) and Brazil (22^nd October, 2013). Jim Clarke also took active part on the CYFY 2013 [http://orfonline.org/cms/export/orfonline/img/cyfyn/index.html] conference held on 14-15^th October, 2013 in New Delhi, India and was involved in a panel session and was an appointed Rapporteur for this large scale international event.
